"The journey of a community is not in its moments of togetherness, but in the spaces we create to return to one another."
We are delighted to invite you to the third South India Community Gathering of Youth Alliance, happening from May 9-11, 2025, at the serene Bhoomi EcoVillage, Gummalapuram (near Bengaluru).
After two beautiful gatherings, the community comes together once again to continue this annual ritual - a space for renewal, reconnection, cross-pollination, and collaboration.
Who is this for?
This gathering is for YA Alumni, their significant others, and community friends. Significant others are the people who deeply shape our lives - partners, colleagues, or close companions on our journeys.
The gathering is supported by Bhoomi Network and Azim Premji Foundation.
Why Gather?
At Youth Alliance, we believe in lifelong co-traveling. Friendships that lift us, inspire us, and hold us accountable to our shared purpose.
Some friendships in this community may be deeply rooted, while others are fleeting but meaningful connections. The Community Gathering is not just a three-day event - it is a ‘choraha’ (crossroads), a place where we meet, reflect, and move forward together.
As we navigate a changing world, this is a space to pause, make sense of our realities, and energise ways to respond - with intelligence, love, and community.

About the Space
Bhoomi Eco Village, located at Gummalapuram, about 40 km from Bangalore (on Map), is a learning space where programs are offered to individuals who are keen to understand and experience various aspects of ecological and sustainable living. When Bhoomi first started the project, this 22 Acre farmland was an almost treeless tract of land with poor quality of soil in an area that receives scanty rainfall. The land now tells us a completely different story, one of rejuvenation, restoration and tuning in with nature in a small community of humans, cows, dogs and sometimes visits by elephants and other animals from the nearby forests. The farm includes a young food forest where several varieties of fruits and vegetables are grown in addition to some millets, pulses and oil seeds.
