One of the most common plastic waste is using Plastic Cutlery (Spoons, Forks, Plates etc.). In our journeys to reduce and refuse plastic, the 3rd gathering in Plastic Free July is an exciting Cutlery Pouch Making Circle.

The idea is to sew our own small Cutlery Carrying bags from an old T-shirt, Cloth which helps us carry our Steel Spoon, Fork, and Plate as we continue to refuse the plastic cutlery. The circle is to build some ease into our small practice of sustainable living.

Here is what you have to bring?

An old cloth thrice the size of the plate you want to carry
Plate, spoon, fork, a hanky,
A normal size needle and thread.

We will have some extra material with us so you don't have to buy anything new :) Don't hold yourself back from this simple gathering even if you don't know sewing.
